EleganceByMarivic's exciting event coming up...

Hello and thanks for checking us out... we appreciate you being here!

We are very excited for this coming event happening on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Courtyard By Marriott in Blacksburg, VA. Here's our Facebook business page, created by EleganceByMarivic, as we look forward to meet each and everyone of our local NRV Vendors participating at this event...

First of all, please allow us to share with you a little history...
This event is a group consisting of local New River Valley business vendors. And Oh btw, this all started with 5 ladies just excited to have what we called GNI, the "Girls Night In" at a private residence here in Blacksburg, VA. We came together, with potluck dishes to share, invite a few friends and then showcase each others businesses. It all started with SendOutCards, SoCrystal Jewelry, Mary Kay and Shaklee local business ladies. It was mainly to have fun, and yes we did just that. Until during the Holidays of 2010, we decided to give a try putting our business out at a local coffee shop, where we rented a room. And once again, we came out with the same tradition... still had a great time supporting each others businesses! Our main goal... it's not all about making money, but it's all about helping and supporting each other to reach that level of business success by not in competition with each other, now that's what we describe the word as "coopertition"!! My working partner, SoCrystal Jewelry will probably have a better explanation for this word, which means inviting your competition to work with you so that all will benefit. And we always do... and we have SO much fun :-)

Now in about 4 months later, April of 2011... we are growing so quickly, the organization and planning skills of EleganceByMarivic was put into test, along with the owner of SoCrystal.com Jewelry. We had to search for a bigger space and so we can accommodate the demands of local NRV women entrepreneurs, still trying to have fun by showcasing each others businesses. EleganceByMarivic is very fortunate to have this group of hard-working women, and truly appreciate each and everyone for their participation. We definitely will keep you posted and photos will also be available in the future...

April 2011 Monthly MeetUp


April showers brings new flowers, new beginnings and new events in our lives! EleganceByMarivic is so excited with Spring season, it's finally here! Lots of exciting things are keeping us busy right at the beginning of this month. NRV Weddings & Special Events Professionals were very blessed to be able to visit the Nesselrod On the New River Bed & Breakfast in Radford, VA. We truly appreciate the great hospitality of Mark Gordon, owner of Nesselrod. This place is immaculate, distinctly different, a perfect venue for weddings and any special events. With that said, I will strongly recommend this venue to my clients.

NRV Wedding Professionals Meet Up


Elegance By Marivic is very excited for the opportunity to organize this NRV MeetUp Group of Wedding Professionals. MeetUp dates are every first Mondays of the month, and we move around the New River Valley areas to meet. In March we met and spent some quality time getting to know our Members at the Courtyard By Marriott in Blacksburg. For this month of April, the group is very excited to come together and MeetUP at the beautiful Nesselrod Bed and Breakfast in Radford. Then coming up in May 2, 2011 we're heading out to the Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg for a brunch MeetUp, and it should be a real treat!

This group is all about supporting our local Weddings & Special Events Professionals in the New River Valley areas. We hope you can join us soon!
